Hotel was 5 star from check in to comfort to atmosphere. Beautiful historical and contemporary elegance blended through out. Our original room was small but very lovely in style, comfort and quality. Did have issue with humming noise and floor vibration in our room and believe it was probably due to a boiler room below us. However: without hesitation we were immediately moved to a very quiet room. Although they were unable to give us a room with a king bed as per our original request when we were moved, we were given a huge and very quiet room with two luxurious queen beds. Again, Check out was easy and valet had our car ready for us for our departure. Would very highly recommend this hotel.

We loved our stay at the Sentinel. The staff were polite, friendly, and went above and beyond for us. We were celebrating our anniversary, and they had amazing cupcakes delivered to our room, which was a thoughtful touch. The hotel was gorgeous, very tastefully decorated. Our room was large, clean, and comfortable. We dined once in the bar, which, to my surprise and delight, had a totally vegan menu, and once in the restaurant. I am vegan, but my husband is not, so it can sometimes be a challenge to find somewhere classy that suits both of us. The staff at Jake's grill were knowledgeable about the options and we both had a fabulous meal.

I love the bed and had a good night's sleep which was just what I needed after several days of travelling. The pillows were so fluffy and the mattress felt so comfortable. I love the toiletries as well especially the bath gel. The decor of the room is very tasteful. The old school radio is a nice touch. The location of the hotel is very ideal as it is close to restaurants and shops.

The only major difference in our smaller room was only one lovely chair around the nice table. On our first visit, during Covid, there were many deficiencies, due to staffing levels no doubt, but we liked it so much, we came back - it is just so pretty.

The virtual cocierge made communicating our questions and needs much simpler. Really top notch for customer service. The "Room at the end of the hall" was a nice addition.
